Did anyone ever tell you that you're a queen?
That you can do whatever you please?
Well, let me be honest with you,
Your actions have consequences, too.

You speak with sharp words,
Hurting others with your insults,
You think you're above everyone else,
But that arrogance will bring you down.

Your jealousy eats away at peace,
It poisons everything around you,
You can't stand to see others happy,
Their joy seems to bother you.

But here’s the truth:
Happiness isn’t found in spreading fear,
Your bitter heart won't heal,
Until you learn to love and care.

So listen closely,
Don’t let your pride lead you astray,
Treat others with kindness,
And you'll find love that’s true and pure.

Shandée - Poem for a Bully

I see the sorrow in your eyes,

The world's weight upon your shoulder,

Pain that you try so hard to disguise,

And a heart that's growing colder.

No one's there to wait for you,

No one shares your meals or space,

No one's there to see you through,

As you search for a warm embrace.

Your heart is burdened with such weight,

Of all the wrongs that you've been told,

And you feel it's getting late,

To heal the pain before you're old.

But time moves on, and so must you,

Can't hide from truth or pretend,

There's no easy way to make it through,

But you'll find love that'll never end.

So hear me now, my friend so dear,

There's hope beyond this present strife,

And though the path may seem unclear,

Love will lead you to a better life.
