It was pleasant to have you,

Talking with you was entertaining.

You knew how to make me laugh,

And how to stop my tears.

You had a magical touch,

Making my life easier,

Grounding me when needed,

Offering sage advice.

You were the person

I used to run to,

When my life was crumbling,

You knew how to put me back, piece by piece.

You are gone,

But everything you did remains here,

And my heart will always remember,

That your love was meant to stay.

You are my family,

My friend,

My confidant,

Life was too short, and I miss you.

I know we all have to leave one day,

But I was not ready for this day to come.

I know you are in a better place,

But there is no better place for you than my heart.

I was not ready to say goodbye,
