People always told me

but I only believed in you
and heard only your voice

and you only shattered my heart
left it torn apart
and didn't care about my pain
I showered you with kisses
and never reproached
anything from you
you were all that mattered to me
I believed in you
you lied to me
I loved you
You hurt me and just mocked me
Now I am left alone
with pain and heartbreak
I wonder why I bet
on a love that was not real
But I know someday
my heart will heal
and I will find someone who
will love me truly
and won't make me feel like a fool.
